 Rustic Apple Pie

INGREDIENTS:
* 3 Red Delicious Apples; peeled, cored, and thinly sliced

* 1 stick of butter

* ½ cup of white sugar

* 4 tablespoons of vanilla extract

* 2 tablespoons of baking powder

* 1 table spoon of ground cinnamon

* 1 egg

* 3 cups of all purpose flour

* 1 cup of water

 DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Spray pie pan with cooking spray. Then lightly coat with flour.

2. On a medium-sized pan, heat butter on medium heat and immediately add apple wedges, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until warm.

3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, egg, cinnamon and heated apple mixture. Mix well, then add water. Spread into pie pan.

4. Use the remaining cooked apple wedges to decorate the top of the pie.

5. Bake in preheated oven for 35-45 minutes, until crust is browned.
